Why is HIV/AIDS so widespread? Is HIV/AIDS just a disease? What is the subcultural phenomenon? What is the relationship between subcultural phenomena and HIV/AIDS? Are there only two genders in the world? What progress has been made on HIV/AIDS vaccines and medicines? This course will (i) discuss the intersection between population floating, drug use, LGBT community, sexual service and HIV/AIDS; (ii) explore a real world of sex diversity; and (iii) discuss the challenges of HIV/AIDS vaccines and treatment.
