       主讲人简介：

       杨爱民 教授

       香港中文大学医学院内科及药物治疗学系研究助理教授。主要研究兴趣包括：糖尿病及心血管代谢性疾病的流行病学和环境危险因素、药物流行病学，以及应用机器学学习算法挖掘电子健康大数据，主持和参与多项医疗卫生研究基金，发表SCI文章100余篇。

         Dr. Aimin Yang is an epidemiologist and pharmacoepidemiologist. He obtained his basic and master medical qualifications from Lanzhou University (China) and received PhD training in environmental epidemiology under a joint PhD program between Yale University (USA) and Lanzhou University in 2016. His previous research in the epidemiology focused on the field of social determinants of diabetes and environmental exposures through design, organization, and implementation of population-based surveys as well as establishing large and complex datasets. His current research interests focus on pharmacoepidemiology of diabetes, environmental epidemiology and developing machine-learning algorithms for clinical predictive modelling. He has extensive experience in analysing big data from large cohort studies and real-world data from Hong Kong Hospital Authority (HA) and Environmental Protection Department (EPD).
